HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 TBSP Organic Cacao Powder
- 2-3 TBSP Organic Monk Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 8 drops Stevia Flavored Drops (Optional) I like English Toffee.
- Warm Coconut or Almond Milk for one mug
DIRECTIONS
- Put coconut or almond milk on the stove to warm.
- Add all dry ingredients to your mug.
- Add Stevia drops if you are using them.
- Add hot milk, stir and enjoy.
DISHING ON THIS DISH: I was having a little addiction to running to the gas station to grab a cappuccino. I really needed to break this habit because that stuff is so toxic and expensive. I knew there was a way I could make my own more affordable and much healthier too. And it turns out, this is keto as well. I no longer ‘crave’ the cappuccino and instead, just have it now and again as a treat. This recipe is for a large mug.

BANANA CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS
- 2 bananas any size, any degree of ripeness
- 1 Tbsp ground chia seed
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp Monk Fruit sugar (optional)
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 to 2 Tbsp organic cocoa powder
DIRECTIONS
- In a Ninja, food processor, or blender add all ingredients and blend until mixed and smooth.
- Pour into container, add a straw, enjoy
DISHING ON THIS DISH: Not a ground–breaking recipe, certainly, but fast and there’s chocolate involved. I threw this together one morning when I made pancakes for my family and there wasn’t enough for me. I already had out the chia, sugar, salt, and coconut milk, so I threw some together in the food processor and added some chocolate for a tasty and super quick breakfast. There are a ton of things you could add here for nutrition: a few leaves of spinach, some coconut oil, and maybe even some sprouted seeds for a healthier kick.
